Great Britain and France Declared War On Germany Because of Poland Invasion

Nazi invasion of Poland started on 1 September 1939. Two days after this the Great Britain and France declared war on Germany. This is said to be the beginning of WWII. On 17 September 1939, Soviet invasion of Poland started from the eastern end. During Nazi Invasion of Poland first and biggest army engagement was seen at the starting of World War II.
