During second sino-japanese war china was a hard nut to crack

The second Sino-Japanese war was fought between the Republic of China and Imperial Army of Japan from 1937-1945. This War is also known in China as “War of Chinese people resistance, against Japan aggression”, “Eight Year’s war of resistance” & “War of Resistance”. In this war between China and Japan approx. 35 million casualties were recorded from the Chinese side and 1.7-1.99 million casualties from the Japanese side were recorded.
